Kindle took a deep breath in as she came across new lands. She had been roaming for a long time and it was hard for her to think about all that had happened. So she pushed away the bad memories in her mind and sat a few feet away from the border of a pack. She wasn't exactly sure if she wanted to join, the last pack she had been with was terrible and her expectations were very low from what she had learned all her life. Amber eyes stared dull into space as she pondered whether she actually wanted to deal with another pack or not. Surely they could not be as bad as her home pack. She tilted her head back and roared with all her might, it was the first time she had even made a sound since she left her home a year ago. The roar was mighty, but it was filled with pain and yearned for love and hope. Something to protect and love, that was all she wanted. If the pack would accept her for the fighter she was, then so be it. If not, she could always roam the lands some more.

~Alphess Raina~

The light blue sky was completely open, revealing the great ball of fire that hovered over everything for about 8 hours or so, before falling down into the horizon, taking its light with it.

The alphess, pondering about this process as she took one of her well known walks, was not uncommon, and her mind was full of images of a evening sky, but the images slowly were washed away, like someone hosing down a wall of wet paint as a roar replaced them, the sadness of it reminding her of a rainy day.

Shaking her head, the alphess hurried her pace to catch up to the sound, wondering if some sort of fight was going on, since the roar sounded so painful. She would not be pleased if she found two loners dueling in out on her borders.

Instead, a lone cat was what she found instead of a bloody fight scene, the tigress reeking of the smell of lands beyond what she knows of.

"Hello. What do you intend on doing, stumbling onto my pack? Unless you want to join our ranks, I have to tell you to leave." The light grey wolf said, her voice not sarcastic, nor aggressive. Her voice was neutral and serious, fully meaning her words with no other emotion to it.

Her tail twitched, much like a cat's as she waited for the loner's hopefully quick reply.

Kindle listened to the fae speak and then lowered her head in respect, her shoulders relaxed and she was basically touching the ground, her eyes touched the paws of the wolf but didn't dare look up further than that. "I am Kindle, and I do indeed seek a home within your pack, if you would accept me?" She was unsure what else to say, she didn't want to interrupt anything the she-wolf had to say and she was cautious about a lot of things. She didn't know what the wolf would want to know, but the scars across the tiger's body screamed out she was in pain at heart. She breathed in silence, listening even though she was lost in thought. Her mind danced back and forth from her past to her present. She closed her eyes briefly, just taking in the crisp winter air. She felt cold both on the outside and deep within her heart. She had abandoned a friend and love, would she ever find forgiveness within that? She missed her friend, but she stubbornly shook her head and lifted it slightly, dull golden eyes peering at the ground as she waited to tell the she-wolf of her skills, perhaps, and then maybe a bit about herself. She huffed out a sigh and sat upon her haunches, large body heaving with every breath she took. Her eyes never met the wolf's face, but she tried her best to keep them on either the grass or the she-wolf's paws.

Raina watched silently as the tigeress bowed her head, showing submissiveness. The alphess smiled gently, ears twitching at the sound of distant branches brushing against each other in the same direction as the wind.

"Stand straight up, Kindle, there's no need to appear weak in front of me and others in this pack, just show the appropriate respect." Raina said, her fur caught in the next breath of wind, carrying her scent away, dark blue eyes squinting to keep the cold winter air from stinging them.

I'll accept your request, but first tell how your going to benefit my pack. Everyone has a part here, and work together for the survival of the pack. Will you hunt for food? Heal other members? Care for the young? Well, i'm sure you get the point by now."

Raina sat down, adjusting the placement of her front paws before curling a fluffy tail tipped in black around them, her posture showing relaxation, and that she wasn't uneasy around the cat.

'There's a awful lot of felines in my pack... I wonder if its the same in Sardothien? Or is that where all of the canines are headed to? She thought silently to herself, looking upward at the sky like it could give her the answers to her random thoughts as she waited for Kindle to reply back.
